Acknowledging CORDE

1. Acknowledgement and Reporting

In order to enable us to comply with our reporting requirements, all users of CORDE are asked to include the following statement in resulting journal publications, acknowledging their use of equipment or facilities for that work:

“The work was performed in part at CORDE, the Collaborative R&D Environment established to provide access to physics related facilities at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge.”

In order to satisfy our reporting requirements to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), we will periodically contact users to request details of resulting publications, and will retain user contact details (normally in the form of an email address) to enable us to do so.

2. Authorship of Publications

All users of CORDE are asked to acknowledge academic contributions made by staff members in accordance with normal academic practice, including authorship of the relevant research publications where appropriate.

Authorship is not expected in situations where staff have only facilitated access to equipment, or have provided a measurement service, where a novel academic contribution has not been made.
