Andy is Professor of Experimental Physics with an international track record in surface and 2D material structure & dynamics.
His background is in technique development for nano-eV surface-scattering and novel microscopy, then making those unique
techniques available to the wider research community.

Dave has over 20 years of experience in the design, fabrication and characterisation of quantum technologies, and has led research teams in academia and industry.
At the Cavendish, he leads an expanding team of highly-trained Research Technical Professionals and apprentices that support user training, service provision, and underpin professional and technical skills development for users at all levels.

With 25 years research experience in industry and academia, David enjoys building equipment from concept to commercial realisation and supporting users to get the best from it. He’s particularly interested in solving problems and thinking about new ways of innovating.
Development Manager
With an extensive customer service background and experience in research administrative hubs, Yugen provides the strategic and administrative operations to the academic colleagues.
